We are so excited to announce our induction into the Truvia® Kitchen Cabinet as "honestly sweet" ambassadors! :)

For the next 6 months, we've partnered with Truvia® to bring you tried and true recipes using the new Truvia® Baking Blend. We know first-hand how hard it is to make good decisions regarding food choices this time of year (everything is just so delicious!), and Truvia Baking Blend is a great way to decrease your calorie intake while still enjoying your favorite treats!

Chewy Ginger Snaps with Truvia® Baking Blend

Ingredients:

3/4 cup margarine
1 cup Truvia baking blend
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a bowl, cream together the margarine and 1 cup Truvia® baking blend until smooth.

Beat in the egg and molasses until well blended.

Combine the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; stir into the molasses mixture to form a dough. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place cookies 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

  1. The recipes are very good. I just purchased some Truvia, so I think I will try this one very soon.

The ads are very intrusive. I am very tired of having to click out of an ad befor I can see the recipe.
