Chicken Ranch Roll-Ups Recipe

Print Friendly

My toddler has become quite the picky eater over the last few weeks.  I knew if he had something he could eat with his hands that he would be more willing to eat it.  Our whole family devoured these, including our picky toddler!  They are so simple to make and taste amazing!

Chicken Ranch Roll-Ups Recipe:
(Makes 8 crescents)
4 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
1 (8 ounce) package fat free cream cheese, softened
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 package ranch dressing mix
1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Boil or cook chicken breasts and shred.  In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, shredded chicken and ranch dressing mix.  Unroll crescent rolls and place a large spoonful of cream cheese mixture on the wide part of each crescent, using about 1/8th of the mixture per crescent.  Roll up crescents and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

I thought the recipe was really tastey but inaccurate… I made 16 roll ups and still had a bunch of chicken mixture left over. I have no idea how you would fit all of that into just eight crescents!

I know I’m commenting way after, but I’m so glad I’m not the only one! I put the mixture together and said, “No way this will fit in 8 crescents.” I could’ve easily made probably 18, I’d say.
