I love going to the grocery store and seeing egg nog on the shelves! This french toast would make the perfect breakfast this holiday season.
Egg Nog French Toast Recipe:
10-12 slices thick, white bread (I used Wonder Bread Texas Toast, but french bread would also work)
2 cups egg nog
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
Nonstick cooking spray
Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat skillet to medium heat. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, egg nog, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Dip each side of the bread into the mixture and cook in skillet for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
