  2. My mum and I want to create a blogging site much like this for our web site, I stumbled across your website looking to get ideas on the theme as well as layout. I am taking some html coding class while attending college and not sure if I would have the capacity to create a blog such as this one just yet. Did you code this site by yourself or employ a professional?

The two most common ways of doing a blog is to use google’s blogger.com tool. Very easy, but does require some html skills, and it is hosted for free. There are some good tutorials on YouTube. The second is WordPress (used by most large blogs). This is an open source code tool with many more tools than blogger and more flexibility. Being open source you have to either have your own server or pay to have it hosted. I think WP will host it for free until it becomes a certain size.
