Watermelon Slush Drink

The other day, my cute neighbors showed up at my door with a HUGE 10 pound watermelon. We love watermelon, but I knew that there was no way we would be able to eat all of it before it went bad. I started looking for recipes that I could make with watermelon and combined a couple of them to come up with this. My kids loved it- it was the perfect drink on a hot day!

Watermelon Slush Drink
Ingredients:
4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
1/8 cup lime juice
1 cup lemon-lime soda
Ice

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until blended (you can leave it as chunky as you want!). Pour into a freezable container and freeze until slushy (I put mine in for about 2-3 hours and it was perfect. I also left some in overnight and it had to thaw for about 2 hours before it was slushy enough to drink).
Makes about 2-3 servings.
