    I enjoy reading blogs that are updated frequently and deal with household tips and recipes with a lot of pitures. Step-by-step tutorials are great. I like reading about projects and recipes that are not very time-consuming and doable.

    I think I like a good mix of things. I like reviews of products, recipes (especially healthy ones), crafts, and even just updates about everyday life. I really like posts with pictures so I know (especially with recipes and crafts) what to expect when I make it myself!

    My favorite blogs contain good, clear pictures that really demonstrate what the author is writing about. Pictures with step by step instruction are really helpful. Blog posts that are specific and focus on one main idea, such as organizing or decorating a “specific” part of the home, rather than really general home decorating ideas.     I love step by step directions, with pictures. FOr an appliance blog, it’d be nice to have repair instructions that have pictures as instruction manuals can be confusing at best.

    I like blogs with instructional videos, it really helps me understand just what the blogger is talking about. First hand product reviews are excellent for showing that the blogger has actually used the item in question, not just regurgitating the review of another tester. An easy-to-use website is a must. If it is too difficult or annoying to find my way around, I won’t. I’ll just give up and leave.

    Easy navigation-I hate having to dig into a site 4-5 layers to find what I am looking for. I want to be able to get to what I want to get to, and back, w/o it being a huge process… so, menus that have their layers in one submenu, for instance. Also, sites that are mobile friendly! I am always on the go, using my phone to reference or research something, and when sites aren’t pretty mobiley, it makes me nuts!

    I think an appliance website that also offered ideas for “curb appeal” or other home updating tips would be worth checking out – even when I’m not shopping for appliances! :) Content needs to regularly change to keep people interested. Plus, make it easy to navigate! :)

    Darn it, just lost my whole long comment! Anyway, content aside, here are the things I enjoy most in a blog: lots of pictures with clear and concise instructions; changes in font, font size, and font color; variety of topics; easy navigation tabs. When it comes to content, I enjoy blogs that offer tutorials, whether it be for recipes, crafts, DIY furniture, or home repair. The key to a good tutorial, however, is not only great pictures and simple instructions, but simplicity and cost effectiveness so that it feels attainable to nearly every reader. As a not-so-crafty person myself, I like being able to see a picture of the finished product at the top, then a quick breakdown of what is required, then more elaborate instructions–because, if it seems to difficult right off the bat, I won’t bother reading the rest of the instructions. When all is said and done, no need to look any further for a fantastic blog implementing all of these things than right here. Well done, ladies! phairgame at gmail.com

    I look for tested recipes and always read the comments for favorite variations. And I especially appreciate step by step tutorials…everything from vintage crafts to furniture making. From an appliance company I would like to know about trends and features…and maintenance tips.

    Healthy family meal recipes are great. Pictures to accompany recipes are important…one for every major step is even better. I like a sense of humor and a true personal voice in a blog…not just lots of info stacked up. Clear links to mentioned items are important too. No out of date info!!

    What I enjoy most about my favorite blogs is a clear, easy-to-find
    menu, directing me to the different pages of the blog. Usually, this
    can be found at the top of the blog, directly under the title. I also
    like it when key words in the blog post are hyperlinked to other pages
    when they refer to another blog, or a previous blog post. It makes
    navigation easier.

    I love an organized blog. I don’t need all of the decorations on it, although cute and fun they aren’t always necessary! I love a search box on a blog too. It’s hard when you want to find something in a certain blog and don’t know the date or anything and just want to search!!

    For Appliances Online: I just visited your site to see if I could give any feedback, and found myself loving everything about your site! I wish I could think of some constructive feedback . . . I’ll just have to tell you what I love, and what I hope you will keep! I immediately saw that shipping was free for normal delivery. LOVE! Also loved seeing the option to track your order. So helpful. I randomly clicked on washing machines, and loved the filter function. Your filter function is unique in showing images, rather than descriptions. I like that. I can see that being very helpful, especially if I’m buying appliances that I don’t have a lot of knowledge about.

    I love cooking blogs. I need pictures to a) make me want to take the time to look at the recipe and b) to make sure I’m doing it right along the way. I especially love slow cooker recipes because I need the convenience of a slow cooker, but it’s really easy to get in a food rut that way too.

    My favorite blogs all incorporate ideas that inspire me – organizing tips, before and after stories, recipes, party ideas, crafts, decorating ideas (especially seasonal), and are all budge friendly – because seriously I wouldn’t be looking for ideas if I could just pay someone to do it all for me!
