We've made dinner a "no-brainer" for you with this delicious recipe!

I love sandwiches from delis and restaurants, but no matter how hard I try, I can never seem to make the "perfect" sandwich at home! My husband and I love to eat at a restaurant called Kneaders Bakery where they serve amazing sandwiches on freshly baked bread. I could drool just thinking about it. This recipe actually tasted like we were eating there but without having to leave home!

Nice and easy recepie, it sounds good iaith the chicken and celery! i must be better to use the celery, it's rarely that I remeber their excistence, and that too bad, cause they are quite cute. Have a wonderful Day and thank you for the inspiration
ReplyDeleteHow is the chicken cooked?
ReplyDeleteHi!
DeleteI just boiled my chicken breasts. Thanks!
This looks delicious!! Chicken salad is one of my favorite things for lunch!
ReplyDeleteJust a little tip- I used to work at Kneaders, and they also have Water Chestnuts and Dill Weed in the chicken salad. It'll taste good without it, but the extra crunch is my favorite part!
ReplyDelete@clskip, Kneaders just boils the chicken, but you could use the grill or the canned chicken. We would boil it so we could cut big chunks.
Happy cooking! :D
The dill made a wonderful difference...thanks :)
DeleteHow did you prepared the chickens? Did you marinate it beforehand?
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI just boiled my chicken breasts in water without marinating them, but you could cook them anyway you would like. Thanks!
sounds delicious! Just a little typo though. It should be celery "stalks".....
ReplyDeletei always make sandwiches for june picnics so thanks for the recipe
ReplyDeletemmmmm...
ReplyDeleteI made this yesterday, boiled the chicken, and used plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream. VERY GOOD chicken salad - thanks!!
ReplyDeleteThis was delicious! Thank you for sharing. It is excellent with the dill weed in it. I also added a couple handfuls of almonds and threw them in the food processor for about 30 seconds. I added about a cup of finely shredded carrots as well. Be sure to add the carrots last and don't over stir or else your chicken salad will look a little too orange. :) Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI like Kneaders but haven't had their chicken salad. I'll have to give it a try but I've never found a recipe I like better than the one I use which contains soy sauce. You can find it on my blog if you'd like to give it a try! It's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the recipe on your blog but tried to find it and couldn't.
DeleteI made this the other day and it was delicious! I usually just toss chicken, mayo, chopped onion, salt and pepper...so your recipe was a little something different and it was yummy :) Thank you.
ReplyDeleteTry adding walnuts for extra crunch and flavour

ReplyDeleteI remember years ago Kneaders put grapes in their chicken salad. When did they stop doing this??
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe! If I use canned chicken, how many cans would you use?
ReplyDeleteMaybe 2 or 3 of the 12.5 ounce cans of chunk chicken breast.
