Black Forest Cherry Cupcake Recipe

These cupcakes are a twist on an old family favorite: our Easy Black Forest Cake. These make the perfect treat for any family party or potluck dinner . . . they are always a big hit! We keep them in the fridge until serving- they are so good cold!
1 Devils Food cake mix (and ingredients called for on box)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 C. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 large can of cherry pie filling
Make the cupcakes as directed on the box and let them cool completely.
Mix 8 oz. cream cheese (softened), 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Then fold in Cool Whip. Mix until well blended. Spread on cooled cupcakes. Top with cherry pie filling. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve. Quick, easy, and delicious!
