Ham and Pineapple Roll-Ups Recipe

My husband loves this meal!  I love how easy and delicious it is!  This is our go-to meal when we have a busy night.  Even your kids will love them!

Ham and Pineapple Roll-Ups Recipe:
(This recipe could be easily adapted to make more or less.  You simply need equal amounts of frozen rolls, ham and cheese slices)

Ingredients:
12 frozen Rhodes Dinner Rolls
12 slices of deli ham
12 small slices of Swiss cheese
1 (20 ounce) can of Pineapple chunks

Directions:
Thaw rolls according to directions on the package.  After the rolls are thawed (but not risen), stretch out each roll and lay it flat on a greased cookie sheet.  Wrap each slice of ham around a slice of cheese and place on top of each roll.  Place 2 to 3 pieces of pineapple chunks on top of each rolled up slice of ham.  Fold the dough over the toppings and pinch the edges together.  Try to not have any holes in your dough, as your cheese will melt out of it.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.  Let cool a few minutes before serving.

  1. Could this be done with crescent rolls instead of the frozen dinner rolls?

  3. I am curious if you think these would freeze ok!? If you baked them first and reheated them from thawed state in the microwave? Hmmmm....
