I found this leather headband tutorial over at Mad Mim . . . it seriously only took 15 minutes from start to finish. The tutorial has great pictures and is so easy to follow that I suggest you head over there and check it out! I found a men’s leather jacket at a thrift store for $3 and knew that it would be perfect for this project- plus I have tons of leather leftover, so I will have to see what else I can make with it! I picked up a bunch a headbands at the dollar store . . . I figure that the cost of this one headband is somewhere around $1. I love inexpensive projects that turn out darling!
And Brynlee makes a cute headband model.
I love that girl.

Wow, that’s a great idea to use a thrifted leather jacket. Why didn’t I think of that?! I’ve seen leather pieces at craft stores that are sooo expensive. I was wanting to make some leather stuff for my Etsy shop. Great idea for upcycling!
The headband is cute, but your model is even cuter! What wouldn’t look cute on that sweet face?? Great job.
WOw! lovely headband and lovely model. I love upcycling, you are very creative…
Awww….this post really takes me back to when my girls were little (especially my older daughter), and they’d wear darling little headbands and bows. Sweet, sweet memories! Your daughter is beautiful and your headband is an elegant classic!
