Garlic Lime Marinated Pork Chops

I love being able to throw some meat in a ziploc bag, toss it in the fridge and not worry about it until dinner time!  I found this recipe at Skinny Taste and it was so good!  It is also a Weight Watchers recipe!  Healthy & delicious?! That is our kind of recipe!
Garlic Lime Marinated Pork Chops

This easy garlic lime marinade is great for warmer months!
  • 4 (6 oz) lean boneless pork chops
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ lime, juice of
  • lime zest
  • salt and fresh pepper
  1. Trim any fat off pork.
  2. In a large bowl season pork with garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  3. Squeeze lime juice and some zest from the lime and let it marinade at least 20 minutes.
  4. Line broiler pan with foil for easy clean up.
  5. Place pork chops on the broiler pan and broil about 4-5 minutes on each side or until nicely browned.

    I think this turned out fantastic although mine looked nothing like the picture. My only change was using the juice from a whole lime and not adding the zest because quite frankly I was too lazy. The way I cook pork chops is different as well and I have not had one person complain about it. I use spray on oil on a pan over medium to medium high heat and put pork chops on a sear for 3 minutes on each side. Then put onto a pre greased cookie pan in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes. Cooks perfectly every single time!!! Yum!!!
