We are HUGE Nutella fans here! I found this recipe and knew it would be perfect for the hubs for Father's Day! It was so easy and delicious! Can't wait to have it again once we burn off all of the calories. :)

| It didn't even need syrup! We thought we had died and gone to heaven! |
4 slices Texas Toast
2 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/8 cup powdered sugar
4 Tbsp Nutella
maple syrup
fresh fruit
Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium low heat. In a bowl whisk together the eggs, cream, and powdered sugar. Take 2 slices of the Texas Toast and spread 1 Tbsp of Nutella on each one. Sandwich together and dip both sides in the custard mixture. Grill on each side until brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately with maple syrup or fresh fruit.

More yum!!!

As a Brit loving your blog can you tell me what texas toast is please so I can try to source similar over here! Thanks
ReplyDeleteTexas Toast in the states is bread that has been sliced thicker. You can buy it by the loaf. So basically just a thicker slice of bread.
