Wooden Box Garden

On our porch we have a drop off from the deck to the basement cement stairs. It is a BIG drop. So with little kids, we needed something to block the drop. We looked at Walmart for a big pot but we didn't want to pay $40 for a big enough pot. So Ammon decided to build a "Garden Box" He just went and got some wood and long nails at Ace. It worked perfect for only $15! Ammon loves planting and so we decided to plant spinach. In a matter of weeks we had tons of Spinach! This picture was taken right after we harvested a huge bowl of it. It just keeps coming and the bunnies can't get to it! It is not too late to start planting! Good Luck and Happy Gardening!
